Well where do I start with Bronwyn and Pádraig beautiful intimate Clonabreany House wedding in November. Clonabreany House is a beautiful and cozy venue for a wedding, full of character and charm. I’m a bit of a sucker for autumn colours, I just think the colours are amazing, and because we had no crazy weather this winter most of the leaves were still on the trees, giving the surrounding grounds such a rich backdrop for their day. Bronwyn got ready at her home in Dublin that morning and from the minute I came in I could see Bronwyn’s artistic touches throughout the house with drawings and a sculpture sitting pride of place in the hall and of course Socky the cat, who was having none of it with all the strange goings on in his house! Bronwyn just had an air of calmness throughout the morning, taking it all in her stride, even when a snail was found in her fresh floral headpiece, she just laughed it off!:-) And what a dress, the stunning scooped back with her long red hair was just beautiful! And her flowers, the colours were so unusual, I’ve never seen bouquets like them. They had their ceremony late afternoon on site at Clonabreany House and it was one of the nicest ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed, full of music and poems, from their close family and friends. That’s what I love about humanist ceremonies, being able to make it as personal as you want.
Even when it came to the photographs and we were chasing the last bit of daylight, Bronwyn had no problem tackling the grass in heels and the embracing the whole thing like a pro! And I love how they have a song from the muppets as their first dance song! Love seeing couples thinking outside the box!
And thanks to my second shooter on the day Livia Figueiredo
