From the minute I met Justine and Rodrigo I knew their wedding at Loughcrew Estate would be one big party. They wanted the day to be the least “Weddingy” day! From the moment they began to plan their wedding (which only took a month to organise everything) they wanted nobody to be hungry, have plenty of delicious food, great music and flowing wine. They wanted a relaxed barbeque party with only their closest family and friends. They got married in the beautiful church ruins at Loughcrew, which set the relaxed outdoor mood for the weekend. Many of Rodrigo’s family and friends had never been to Ireland before, so they know that Loughcrew and the surrounding area would show off the Irish landscape beautifully!
Many of Justine and Rodrigo’s family and friends played a huge role in planning and helping them prepare for the big day. Justine’s Dad worked on making all the center pieces, cake stands, signs, and candle holders. Her Aunt arranged all the flowers including the bride and the bridesmaids bouquets, church and table flowers. Her friends mam made all the bunting. A family friend made her dress, which she designed as well as the bridemaids! Justine’s jewelery was also hand made by a friend. Their families decorated the whole venue! They also used Rodrigo’s late mothers scarf for their hand fasting which was a really special touch.
This was definitely my type of wedding day, loved being able to capture it for Justine and Rodrigo!
