The Millhouse Slane Weddings

A little bit about me…I love to capture non-traditional, relaxed and creative weddings. For me weddings are about moments and people, real emotions between you and the ones you love the most.

Capturing that feeling is what I am all about, I want to document these intimate little moments in the most unobtrusive way, as they unfold naturally.

The venue itself sits right on the river Boyne and consists of industrial outbuildings as well as an original old Georgian Mill building, where you can have your ceremony.

The country house is also yours for the day and is a wonderful space for your guests during the drinks reception no matter what the weather.

The Millhouse in Slane is a beautiful rustic industrial style venue with touches of old country house elegance.

I’ve shot there a number of times from summer to winter and It is one of my favourite venues in Co.Meath to work at.

#insidertip — like a lot of venues The Millhouse has a late ceremony start of 3pm all year round so I would always advise having a first look before the ceremony, especially in the autumn/winter months so you get the most out of the available daylight and that you have more time to enjoy your reception.

There is the perfect spot at the back of the house which is completely private so no chance of any of your guests seeing you before the ceremony. – see photo

It is an exclusive wedding venue less than one hours drive from Dublin that can cater up to 200 guests.

It has the perfect mix of Industrial and greenery so if you are looking for a contemporary non-traditional feel to your wedding day this is the venue for you.
