Beautiful Marlfield House wedding // Sarah + Wayne

Well where do I begin with the beautiful Marlfield House Wedding of Sarah and Wayne which took place this summer, so maybe beautiful details, it really was a dream wedding to shoot. From the moment I meet both Sarah and Wayne I knew we were a good fit, we chatted about all the elements of there wedding day and what they wanted for their day. I knew after talking with Sarah that her wedding was going to be filled with special details and even the venue, Marlfield House had a special place in their hearts, as Sarah’s parents had stayed there over the years. The day itself was pretty perfect, as everyone knows, Irish summers can be every season, but we got lucky and didn’t have a cloud in the sky all day! The morning was so chilled out, and I couldn’t believe all the little details that Sarah had thought off for her mam and bridesmaids, even down to the handkerchiefs with messages on them. The wedding was very much a family affair with Sarah’s dad helping to paint the table settings and her cousin creating the most amazing selection of cakes and what a cake table it was! The relaxed atmosphere continued throughout the whole day, even Sarah’s heels didn’t slow her down with photos, she got out the slippers from her room! Marlfield House has such a nice atmosphere to it, it feels like a house party and not a wedding venue. There was so much love and happiness at this wedding, which is what Sarah and Wayne wanted from the start, so stress, no running around, just a celebration of their day with the people closest to them! Also as a Stevie Wonder fan I loved that they picked ‘signed, sealed, delivered’ as their entrance song!
