Colourful and Fun Cloughjordan House Wedding
Joanna and Ryan
I knew from the minute Joanna enquired with me, this wedding was going to be special, especially with their backgrounds in Art.
Fun fact about myself I used to be an Art teacher and Joanna and Ryan are both Art teachers too and met while studying for their Hdip in Limerick College of Art and Design, the exact same year that I did my Hdip in Cork! Even stranger I got accepted to Limerick as well but decided to go to Cork instead so who knows we could have all be friends!
The day itself was glorious! Joanna wanted the day to be filled with colour! From the flowers, the groom and groomsmen’s ties, the bridesmaids dresses and the gorgeous colourful appliqué and beading on Joanna’s custom dress that she deigned herself in Shanghai.
These two were the dream to work with, we had so much fun with the photos, even recreating our own version of Grant Wood’s American Gothic! I love it when a couple get creative and get what they want from their photos on a wedding day!
This one is definitely up there as a highlight of 2019 and I can not thank Joanna and Ryan enough for letting me be a part of their day!
