Fun Cloughjordan House Wedding of Ed and Dave

Everything about Ed and Dave’s wonderfully fun Cloughjordan House Wedding day makes me smile. It was one of my favourite weddings from last summer, if not ever! From the minute I met these two before the wedding I knew it was going to be one seriously great day.

Fast forward to the wedding day itself, they both got ready that morning in the County Arms in Birr before heading over early to Cloughjordan to get some photos together before the ceremony which made the day really relaxed as we had so much time to just have a wander around the grounds before the guests arrived.

I have never seen so much joy at one wedding, from start to finish this wedding was the epitome of love. From some of their closest friends playing an acoustic version of ‘Simply the best’ by Tina Turner as Ed and Dave walked into their ceremony (Schitt’s Creek fans will appreciate this!) to the hilarious and heartfelt song that another friend wrote and sang during the ceremony and finally to the brilliant speeches, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

It’s weddings like this that are good for the soul, I couldn’t help but get completely caught up in the atmosphere of the day and I absolutely loved hanging out with Ed and Dave and their families and friends all day. I even had the pleasure of seeing them both again later at the end of last year over in Liverpool to do a cool shoot with their Dalmatian, Murphy, which I will be sharing very soon too!
